Skin bleaching is one of the criticisms often levelled at celebs whose skin colour appeared to have changed from what the public used to know. But then, it has also been said that whatever an adult chooses to do is entirely the adult’s business, so long as they are not breaking the law.
Well, Trinidadian singer Onika Tanya Maraj, long famous by the stage name Nicki Minaj, is currently under scrutiny, with some tweeps accusing her of bleaching her skin. The criticisms followed the unveiling of a picture of her and her family back in Trinidad.
According to some tweeps who saw the picture, the celebrated singer looked way lighter while most of her family members looked darker. So as far as they are concerned, the songstress must have changed the colour of her skin along the way. You can check out the pictures below.
While the focus appears to have been her skin tone change, previously the narrative was about her body and how it was apparent she did cosmetic surgery to get the banging body she currently has.
Still, as one of her fans has noted, she is an adult and decides for herself what to do with her body.
