It was a grand show on Tuesday (Sept. 10) as Serena Williams debuted her S by Serena Spring/Summer 2020 collection during New York Fashion Week,
The audience were wow-ed with adorable fashion made of sequin shimmered and shined as it sashayed down the runway, while brightly colored dresses, two-pieces and jumpsuits hugged the curves of runway models.
“It’s really important for me to be all-inclusive. I really love the word inclusivity and not exclusivity — I think that’s just better,” Serena said backstage to Glamour. “I think it’s so important for everyone to feel like they can see an outfit and think, ‘Oh, that looks like me and I feel good in it.’ It doesn’t matter what color they are.”
Notable celebrities and fashion insiders filled the event hall to support the tennis star turned style visionary, On the front rows we could see La La Anthony, Kim Kardashian West, Rico Nasty, Ashley Graham, Dascha Polanco and Serena’s husband, Alexis Ohanian, as they watched each design intently.
