Real Housewives of Cheshire star Dawn Ward shocked fans with her drastic new look on Saturday.
The northern reality star agreed to undergo a drastic makeover for a catwalk show during London Fashion Week Men’s on Saturday.
The mother-of-four, 45, shunned her usual glossy blowdry and pristine make-up for a greasy, wet look hairstyle and icy visage as she modelled for the Art School Autumn/Winter 2019 collection.
The blonde star looked like she was taking the show seriously as she sashayed down the catwalk in a gold skirt and matching jacket.
Cheering on Dawn at the Old Truman Brewery in Shoreditch were her daughters Darby, Taylor, Aston and Charlie, as well as her retired footballer husband Ashley.
Art School is an emerging new fashion label by designers Eden Loweth and Tom Barrett, who aim to use fashion as a “tool to explore contemporary queerness”.
Their show was billed as an Ode to the Art School Community and Transgender Women and attracted top fashion journalists from Vogue and GQ.
Sharing a selection of the photos on her Instagram, Dawn wrote: “So honoured to be asked to walk for the amazingly talented @artschool_london @londonfashionweek was the most Surreal morning. Honestly everyone should follow @artschool_london the future of British fashion.”
Fans of the ITVBe show couldn’t believe how different Dawn look, with many agreeing she was “unrecognisable”.
One wrote: “@dawnward4 it is an honour Mrs Ward, I for one think it’s great that you are totally unrecognisable, not sure hubby would be jumping on your bones but us gays LOVE it. #fiercerulingdiva.”
Another commented: “Is this even you @dawnward4?? Doesn’t even look like you!! Well done tho.”
Meanwhile, former Derby County player Ashley, 48, couldn’t resist teasing his wife on Instagram, writing: “Well done today babe rocking London Fashion Week. @artschool_london. A whole new look for you. Wonder if you’ll keep it long term?”
Her eldest daughter Taylor shared a video of her mum in action, joking: “OMG, does anyone know this woman?”
