Africa Fashion Collective London returns for the fall of 2023 for the display of African talents in the fashion industry.
Africa Fashion Collective is a unique business networking event that brings
professional individuals from various industries and different stages in their
careers together to celebrate, be inspired by, and support talented up-and-coming African designers.
Africa Fashion Collective London is presented by the collaboration of Joan Okorodudu and Wari Granville. Joan Okorodudu is the CEO and founder of ISIS Models (the biggest modeling agency in Africa), and Africa’s Next Super Model (the most prestigious modeling competition originating from 15 years of Nigeria’s Next Super Model project). Joan is an
African icon who through her passion has helped put African Fashion and Modeling Industry on the world map. She has won several awards in the fashion and modeling industry, including the New African Woman.
Wari Granville is the CEO of Warilace. She began her career in the hairdressing industry where she had the opportunity to work with Caucasian and African/Caribbean hair types, whilst working at top salons in Mayfair and Chelsea. She soon began participating in photo shoots for hair and magazines and modeling at major trade and public shows, such as the Afro hair and beauty exhibition at the business design and Alexandra palace.
Last year, the Africa Fashion Collective took place at the Queens’ Gate, Kensington, London, and featured a number of African Top Designers including Adebayo Jones, Zohi Taglit, Unikutelle, Sevaria, House of Nwocha, Agatha Moreno, Abrantie.
Top models from ISIS Models graced the runway.
